Our Story – Hotel Boutique Zahara

Hotel Boutique Zahara was born from a personal story, a dream brought to life after a long and rewarding professional career entirely dedicated to hospitality.

This project bears the name and affection of Silvia Aguilar. Behind it lies nearly three decades of experience in the hotel and gastronomic industries, during which she embraced the opportunity to learn from diverse cultures and the unique needs of different cities and destinations. These experiences allowed her to develop her own vision of hospitality, shaped by countless influences and valuable lessons.

Throughout her career, she has combined extensive experience in boutique hotels and four- and five-star establishments with work in renowned Michelin-starred restaurants, collaborating closely to create unique guest experiences. This journey enabled her to gain insight into different styles of service, gastronomy, and customer care.

All of these professional experiences have led this Madrid-born entrepreneur to take a further step—a significant leap—by creating a space of her own where she could bring together the very best of everything she has learned and share a vision of hospitality founded on warmth, excellence, and attention to every detail.

Hotel Boutique Zahara is not a hotel conceived from behind a desk. It is an accommodation created from a passion for welcoming guests, for gastronomy, for wine, for the small details, and from the belief that the best experiences are born when someone feels genuinely welcome.

Every recommendation, every breakfast, every wine, every corner of the hotel, and every suggestion for discovering Zahara has been carefully considered, drawing not only from professional expertise but also from the heart.

Our primary goal is for every guest to feel supported throughout their stay and enjoy a holiday tailored to their preferences and needs, whether it is a romantic getaway for two, a relaxing break with friends, or a family vacation.

We want our guests to clearly identify our hotel with the motto that guides us:

“Hospitality is not a service. It is a way of caring for people.”
